Technical Analysis and Application Points of Natural Gas Compressor Outlet Pressure Set to 0.6mpa

What is 0.6MPa outlet pressure?

The outlet pressure of the natural gas compressor is set to 0. 6MPa (That is, 6 bar), which belongs to the category of medium and low pressure transportation, and is common in scenarios such as city gas pressure regulating station, stable gas supply after LNG gasification, and pre-pressurization of industrial fuel gas. The pressure level takes safety and conveying efficiency into consideration, and meets the inlet pressure requirements of most downstream gas equipment (such as boilers, burners and distributed energy devices).

Technical implementation and precautions

to achieve stable 0.6MPa outlet pressure, it depends on accurate pressure control system, including inlet pressure controlled valve, outlet safety shut-off valve, pressure transmitter and PLC closed loop feedback loop. The accuracy of the instrument should be checked regularly during operation to prevent downtime or potential safety hazards caused by overvoltage or undervoltage.

Typical application scenarios

  • back-end gas supply of town gas Gate Station/high and medium pressure regulating cabinet
  • output voltage stabilization link of small LNG gasification station
  • gas supercharging for food, ceramics, glass and other industries
  • front-stage gas supply of combustion gas turbine in distributed energy system

tips:the actual selection should be combined with the comprehensive calculation of flow rate, intake pressure, gas composition and ambient temperature. It is suggested to carry out design check according to GB/T 38951-2020 “technical conditions of natural gas compressor.
