Common standards for noise testing of air compressor
the noise generated during the operation of air compressor is an important evaluation object of industrial environmental noise control. The current mainstream air compressor noise test basis includes China’s national standardsGB/T 4980and international standardsISO 3744. GB/T 4980 “Measurement of noise of positive displacement compressor” stipulates the method of measuring sound power level in engineering environment, which is applicable to fixed and mobile air compressor; ISO 3744 precision sound pressure method is adopted to measure sound power level in semi-anechoic chamber or free field environment, with higher precision.
