According to the special equipment safety law and the safety technology supervision regulations for fixed pressure vessels (TSG 21-2016), judge whether nitrogen storage tanks need to be inspected, the key lies in whether it meets the legal definition of “pressure vessel.
I. Judgment basis

II. Inspection requirements

Note: Even if nitrogen is inert gas, non-toxic and harmless, it is not exempt from supervision-regulations focus on the potential energy risk caused by physical parameters (pressure × volume), rather than chemical hazards.
